Square Pine Retreat

Korgan · Ordu · Eastern Black Sea

When will you reward yourself?

Step away from the noise of everyday life and into the quiet of the forest. Twenty-five A-frame cabins among the pines, above Korgan — for you and the people you love.

The retreat

High above Korgan, where the pine and beech close in and the air turns cool and clean, twenty-five A-frame cabins stand among the trees. Each one opens onto the forest through a wall of glass — so the first thing you meet in the morning is the canopy and the light.

There is little to do here, and that is exactly the point. Wood smoke, a warm jacuzzi, a terrace under the trees, and a quiet you can actually hear. Come as a couple, a family, or a few friends — every cabin sleeps four.

The Cabin

One cabin, done properly.

Every A-frame is the same by design — glass-gabled, wood-warmed, and built for four. Here is what a night inside one feels like.

The A-frame bungalow framed through silver birch trunks in warm morning light, with its raised deck, railing and external stair.
A side profile of the bungalow showing its steep dark metal roof sweeping toward the ground, timber walls on a stone base, and a stone path crossing the forest clearing.
Loft bedroom with a white-linen bed on a timber-railed mezzanine directly beneath the triangular apex window, looking out to the forest.
01

Wake to the forest

The bed rests beneath the triangular window, so you wake to the canopy and the early light coming through the pines.

A black wood-burning stove beside the jacuzzi, with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto the forest deck.
02

A real fire

A wood-burning stove for the cool highland evenings — the warmth gathers under the gable and stays through the night.

Overhead view of the private jacuzzi tub set beside sliding glass doors to the deck, lit by hexagon pendant lights.
03

Your own jacuzzi

A private jacuzzi, warm against the cool mountain air, with the forest for a view and no one else in sight.

Living space with a grey sofa and armchairs around a teal rug and wood table, with a compact kitchenette tucked beneath the loft stair.
04

Room to settle in

An open living space with a kitchenette to one side and the glass gable framing the trees.

Wood-panelled en-suite bathroom with a glass walk-in shower over palm-leaf tiling and a white vessel sink.
05

A calm bathroom

A full en-suite with a walk-in shower and quiet, premium finishes.

A furnished terrace with a wooden bench and grey decking, the sliding glass doors reflecting the surrounding forest.
06

A terrace in the trees

Your own furnished terrace among the pines — for slow coffee in the morning and stillness after dark.

The A-frame bungalow seen head-on, its full triangular glass gable reflecting the surrounding forest above a timber deck.

Under the apex glazing

The whole triangular gable is glass, from deck to ridge, so the forest is always in the room. By day it holds the canopy; after dark, the trees and the quiet.

The Setting — Forest & Highland

Pine, beech, and open sky.

The retreat sits in a highland forest of pine and beech, threaded with walking trails and stone paths that open onto quiet meadows. There is parking on site — and beyond that, mostly birdsong.

A grassy forest clearing with wooden gazebos and picnic shelters scattered beneath a huge mature beech tree, retreat buildings behind.
Tall beech trees rising from a stone-paved court with a basketball hoop, a forested hillside rising behind.
A broad open meadow lined with picnic gazebos along the treeline, the glass restaurant at right under dramatic clouds.
